Multi/Cable today announced the awarding of a contract from the Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) for the supply of an aircraft test cable. The contract calls for the supply of 17,000 FT of a custom engineered 50 conductor cable within an expedited time frame. As a veteran owned business, Multi/Cable is proud to continue it's tradition of supporting the US Armed Forces with Mil-spec cable and Mil-spec wire.
The CCAD mission is to ensure aviation readiness for all service and international sales programs. CCAD is currently the largest facility of its type in the world and serves as a depot training base for active duty Army, National Guard, Reserve and international personnel. The depot's field teams provide worldwide onsite maintenance services for units around the world, saving a considerable amount of time and money by repairing aircraft engines and components on site rather than having them transported to and from the depot for repair. CCAD provides overhaul, repair, modification, recapitalization, retrofit, testing and modernization of helicopters, engines and components for all service and international sales of rotory wing aircraft.
